Site Clearance, Remediation and Earthworks

Doocey Groundworks have the capacity and capability to carry out large volume earthworks schemes, cuttings, embankments and site clearance. With a large selection of plant at hand, and with the latest intelligent machine control systems, we can take care of any earthworks project.

Our commitment to the environment ensures that we prevent the waste of potentially useful materials and reduce the consumption of raw materials. To achieve this, we process as much waste as possible at our recycling facility in Dudley. It is here that we recycle all suitable materials and arisings generated from our site clearance activities.

Roads and Sewers

All of our roads and sewers teams specialise in the construction of roads, footpaths, foul and storm water sewers to adoptable standards. Whether rigid, flexible, modular or composite, we have the experience to build them all.

All aspects of civil engineering and infrastructure works to include Section 278 works and Section 38 works are taken on as a stand alone project or as part of a main development.

Liaison with highway and water authority inspectors is maintained in-house by a dedicated team of technical staff. It is here that we ensure the successful adoption of your estate roads.

For all or your connections to adoptable sewers, big or small, deep or shallow, in the highway or footpath, we have a dedicated drainage gang specifically trained for working in live highways.

Groundworks

Our groundworks teams are experienced in all types of foundation solutions, from traditional methods such as strip or mass fill through to reinforced ground beams, in-situ concrete slab, piled and raft foundations.

Our team of time served bricklayers take care of all plot substructure masonry up to DPC and screen walls, garden walls and retaining walls. Foul and storm drainage (plastic or clay) can be installed along with associated chambers in strict accordance with the engineering drawings and to NHBC and Local Authority standards.

We can assist with design development for flooring systems by proposing alternative options and still achieving the specified thermal value. We supply and install all systems from suspended precast concrete beams with insulated or concrete block infills to a traditional concrete floor. Gas membranes, DPMS, concrete or sand/cement screeds are laid by our flooring team.
