Doocey Directional Drilling completed the first phase of a new water mains installation for Broadhaven Homes at their James Close development in Brierley Hill.

This was a challenging project where works were carried out within a confined street. Working with the local residents, we managed the flow of traffic to help minimise disruption keeping everyone informed at all times. Residents were very complimentary on how these works were carried out.

Directional Drilling was chosen to help reduce the amount of excavation required and spoil removal whilst minimising the need for excessive Tarmacing. Adopting this strategy on many small projects of this nature make a big impact when reducing our carbon footprint.
