Karen Raises £280 for Breast Cancer Awareness

On Saturday 12th May, our very own Karen Ridd joined 15,000 other men and women to walk 15 miles or more through London during the night in aid of Walk the Walk, a charity raising money and awareness for breast cancer.  

A trademark of the moonwalk, apart from taking place during the night, is that everyone does it in their decorated bra, men included. Walk the walk have been running a big campaign this year to raise awareness that men can get breast cancer too! Starting at 11.30 on Saturday night Karen crossed the finish line to collect her medal at 4.30am, ready for a hot drink and some sleep. 

Karen would like to thank everyone at Doocey Group for the generous donations after raising £280 for this worthwhile cause. Well done Karen!
